Spring Fever

It’s a beautiful day here, so I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures around the homestead. If you saw the bigger picture, you’d think it to be terribly ugly and drab…but when you zero in on little areas the ugliness becomes beautiful.

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.
~Ecclesiastes 3:11

This is what spring fever looks like to me.springfever

  1. I had no idea that you homestead. I shouldn’t be surprised, we have so much in common already. That’s one of my dreams, to be able to own anplot of land, homestead, live self-sufficiently.

Haha…thanks! But…if you mean by me having land & farmhouse, that isn’t the case. 🙂 I have a lot of imagination when it comes to my home. It’s anything from a farm to a cabin in the woods…but in reality, it’s a home in the suburbs. That said…I do feel that we live self-sufficiently. 😉

      • I realized recently that homesteading can be any place you want- suburbs, cabin, farmhouse, apartment homes… Its more a way of life than just where you live. That being said, I need to figure out what MY homestead can look like in my little apartment. Definitely not a full blown garden, but maybe some container plants? Who knows… 🙂

Well then, yes…I would say that I’m homesteading. 🙂 Yes…get yourself some containers and start planting your little garden! I find it very therapeutic.
